NBA All Star Weekend 2012!

OK basketball fans!

After a shortened, strange and frustrating (especially for Celtics fans) first half of the NBA season it is time for this year’s NBA All Star game. This year it takes place in the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

The annual celebrity game and Rising Star Challenge was played yesterday. Check out Davka for the torrents.

Except for the main event, there is  a lot of other events. My favourite event is the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday at 8 pm ET. This year’s lineup consists of Chase Budinger (Houston Rockets), Paul George (Indiana Pacers), Jeremy Evans (Utah Jazz) and Derrick Williams (Minnesota Timberwolves). Maybe not the most exciting lineup to date, but hey, you know you’re going to watch it anyways!

The actual All Star game is scheduled for Sunday night at 7 pm EST (game starts at 8 pm) and will probably be available on TNT (or your local streaming site…)
